Ten years is a long time. Long enough for favorite shirts to wear out, designs to become “throwbacks,” and memories to pile up with a community of people who have been along with us for the ride.
The special 10th Anniversary logo we created is a small badge that represents all of it. It celebrates the journey from the early days of 5518 to the brand it has become, a journey shaped as much by the people around us as it has been by the designs we’ve created and the dreams we have for moving forward.
Over those ten years, 5518 has been lucky enough to be part of birthdays, reunions, trips, graduations, holidays, prom pictures on the chairlift, first days of school, adventures, and the ordinary Tuesdays in Montana that somehow turn into your favorite memories. Our designs have traveled farther than we ever imagined, but they’ve always felt most at home on the people who wear them.
That’s what makes this logo special. We scoured the archives for bits and pieces of some of our favorite “throwback” SimplePlace designs. If you look closely, you’ll see several different elements combined to create our “10,” little pieces of 5518’s history coming together to mark this milestone.
At the same time, it’s not just a graphic showing how long we’ve been around. It’s a thank-you to the customers who stop in, the friends and family who believed in the idea, our employees who work hard every day, the artists and businesses we’ve collaborated with, the people who helped us along the way, and the community that gives 5518 a reason to keep creating.
Ten years of 5518 is really ten years of you being part of the story. This logo is our way of looking back at how far we’ve come, celebrating the memories we’ve made along the way, and carrying those memories with us into what comes next.
